The objectives of this class meeting are to:

-  Introduction the course and the participants

-  Review the elements of organizational research

-  Introduce Ellet’s case analysis framework

-  Analyze the problem decision, and evaluation frameworks

-  Diagnose the steps of critical thinking as outlined in the case study framework

-  Start the teaming process

Class meeting activities

-  Introduction to Thomas More College

-  Course introduction and discussion of the module

-  Lecture on the case method

-  Open discussion on critical thinking

-  Set up teaming procedure

-  Summary of learning objectives for the week and preview of next week
